Built by Londoners who were tired of fly-tipping and "man with a van" cowboys
Rubbish Move started because our founders kept seeing the same problem across London: unlicensed operators taking cash, dumping waste illegally, and leaving customers exposed to fines they didn't even know they could be liable for. We built a fully licensed, insured alternative instead.
Since then we've grown into a team of trained collectors, drivers and office staff covering every London borough, handling everything from a single mattress to full house and office clearances. What hasn't changed is the standard: every job is carried out by our own crew, waste is sorted and weighed, and we can provide a waste transfer note for every collection.
Our mission is simple — make rubbish removal fast and affordable without cutting corners on where the waste actually ends up. Currently over 95% of what we collect is recycled, reused, or donated rather than sent to landfill.
